Christian Service at St. Perpetua is rooted in the love of God and service to our neighbors guided by
Unleash the Gospel. The Christian Service Commission works to advance the vision of Catholic Social Teaching in the parish and local community. The Christian Service Commission is a witness with words
and actions to the power of God through spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Some of these works
can be found in the activities that the Christian Service Commission does, such as the following:
The Christian Services Commission activities continue to grow - please see the most recent

The Education Commission plans and evaluates all areas of religious education for the entire parish.
Religious Education Classes: For students in grades 1 through 8.
Meets weekly on Monday 6:00 - 7:15 pm September through April.
Adult Formation: Various programs are offered to deepen the faith of Catholic adults in the parish. These study classes, lectures and meetings are continually taking place.
Rite of Christian Initiation: The RCIA is offered for all persons who wish to know more about Christ and the Catholic faith. These classes may act as a renewal of faith to current church members or as instruction for adults and high school students who wish to be confirmed as Catholics.
This commission guides the temporal needs of the parish as a whole, including care of the parish grounds, and yearly revenue and expenditure concerns.
This commission formulates liturgies which help make each liturgical season and major feast celebration come alive in creative and meaningful ways.
